Teen Board
Mission Statement
The Teen Board empowers young leaders to support justice-involved mothers through education, service, and advocacy - promoting rehabilitation, breaking cycles of incarceration, and strengthening families across Oklahoma.
What We Do
Educate
The teen board equips students to answer difficult questions through education and communication. Each meeting covers an important issue facing justice-involved individuals, giving students the space to ask questions, offer solutions, and gain knowledge.
Serve
Students will be challenged to give back to ReMerge participants by planning and executing service projects throughout the year. As a group, they will work to assess the needs of justice-involved women and find practical ways to help meet those needs.
Advocate
Teen board members will work together to find unique ways to raise community awareness and support for ReMerge. To this end, each year will culminate in a fundraising event planned and executed by the teen board.
