One year ago, a story about Cierra dropping her kids off on a neighbor's porch was aired on News 9. Cierra used that story as motivation to get her life back on track. She was thankful of Melissa, who was kind and called police to get her the help she needed. News 9 followed Cierra to say "Thank You" to Melissa. Cierra wanted to update her on the progress she has made, invite her to the Spring 2020 graduation, and let her know her plans for the future.
