What We Do
Main ContentReMerge is a gender-responsive, trauma-informed, strengths-based program that keeps women in the community and out of prison, offering life-changing opportunity for them and their families.
We provide for basic needs including clothing and hygiene items; housing; transportation; access to medical and dental care, as well as providing trauma-informed treatment for mental health and substance abuse; parenting classes; financial literacy; health and wellness education; assistance with fines and fees; educational and employment assistance that includes GED tutoring, resume assistance, and more. While there are common themes of childhood trauma, domestic violence, and family cycles of addiction and poverty for most of the women in our program, we understand that they are each individuals with unique needs and are equipped to customize the program to meet those needs.
Upon graduation, eligible participants’ charges are dismissed. Upon graduation from our program, moms are encouraged to stay connected through our Continuing Care program.
